Yeah, I just meant we didn't get a whole movie devoted to it before the first time they introduced what it's best known for in the comics.

Kinda hope somehow Hugh Jackman's Wolverine's adamantium gets extracted and winds up on the MCU's Wolverine down the road. Super duper rare metal.

I just realized something very disappointing about Quantumania-- Michael Peña is not in the movie according to IMDB.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't notice until you pointed it out!
It's right in the trailer but it's quick.

This talk about the dead Celestial being the source of Adamantium and maybe the origin of Krakoa, it reminds me of an old idea cooked up for tying the Phoenix Force to the Infinity Stones.

The Phoenix Force in the comics (after all the retcons) is that it's some Primal force from the dawn of time, similar to how the Infinity Stones are supposed to be fragments of the Big Bang. Raw Creation power.

Theory was to have the Phoenix be a byproduct of the Infinity Stones. Everytime a Stone was used, there was always a release of power. Excess energy, the "Nuclear Waste" to the Stones "Nuclear Power".

Over the Millions of years that the Stones were found and used, more and more "Infinity Byproduct" energy was released until it all coalesced together in space into something. The Phoenix Force. The "Child" of the Infinity Stones.

I don't know if the Stones and the Phoenix have any connection in the comics though.
