An international traveler was traveling with a dog and abandoned him at San Francisco International Airport. Almost 30 United employees applied to adopt the dog. After completing quarantine, a pilot adopted him.

So, the original owner just decided to leave the dog at the airport? Or was that the airport crew's ultimate assumption? It just seems kind of randomly cruel, if true.
