And the latest HBO Max show that was canceled and everything that was filmed will never be released is... Minx.

You mean they removed it from HBO Mox? Or they filmed a new season that won't be seen? Because the first season already came out. It's still available in my country.

I just read up on it. Season 1 will be removed as well. But they are looking for a new home for it. So I am guessing if you like the show you will at least be able to see season 2 somewhere, eventually.

Season 2 is almost done filming and got scrapped. Lionsgate is trying to shop the show elsewhere.

I don't know why Lionsgate don't do a physical release of the series they've done it before with other shows that don't do that well and made back some money.

Starz is getting in on the "I change my mind" game. After renewing Dangerous Liaisons for season 2, they've decided to cancel it. But at least they didn't actually start filming season 2 before canceling it.

Netflix has canceled Warrior Nun after two seasons, which is a shame. I really liked it.

I'm kind of not surprised as they seemed to do very little warning on when it was coming out. On the other hand, from all accounts season 2 did very well (from a personal point of view, I enjoyed it).

Would have liked a third season if they can find somewhere else for it though.

And the hits keep coming at CNN. Stanley Tucci's "Searching For" show has been axed.

    Story

I actually really loved this show. It's really made me want to visit Italy.

Netflix cancels Blockbuster after one season. Puts the development of Circuit City, Sports Authority, Teavana, KB Toys, and Borders in jeopardy.

BLock Buster was painful to watch. Just needed to see if Randall was going to bag Amy.

Although I really liked Bar Fight where some one else bagged Amy.

Netflix cancels so many shows I simply refuse to watch 99% of their original content until after the run is over - sick of half finished stories. I don't know why they treat their service like a TV network pre streaming era.

If regular TV yesterday could harvest numbers as accurately as Netflix today, series would be have been canceled half way through filming episodes.

Block Buster was a show??? i thought it was a movie. It should have been billed as a limited series

Kinda crazy how in my now 50 years, i have outlived a number of things that should have endured...

There was a documentary called "The Last Blockbuster" and I posted a trailer earlier in the thread.

If the sitcom had been a limited series it should have been structured differently to tell a complete story, which it did...

Everyone is warned about sunspots for half a season, then the sunspots happen and all the streaming services IN THE WORLD die, and the last Block Buster is the only place in town, where any one can now watch old movies, and they are inundated with new customers.

Calling a short lived, failed sitcom a "limited series" is a bald faced lie, which happens.

It is about Blockbuster. It would HAVE to be limited. Netflix was the one who limited them

There is one Block Buster still muddling on in Bend Oregon.

Block Buster is, until proved otherwise, eternal.

After the documentary came out, they briefly offered overnight stays on Air BNB

My kids and I used to love going to our local Blockbuster. Something about physically looking at the boxes, that hope the movie you're looking for is in the return bin, the buckets of popcorn...there really was something great about the experience.

Somewhere in the world their is a Hollywood Video fan shaking their fist in the air and then kicking a can due to all the Blockbuster love. Wondering when will it be our turn for some of those feels.
