Again, I see nothing in that casting call to suggest Autons.
That said, it's cool to see they're looking for non-binary actors specifically, meaning the character they're casting is non-binary.

No doubt I'll end up looking foolish but I've thought for a while that if they did bring them back they could put them in the Influencer/Social Media Personality world since they're the real world example of fake plastic people. And reading the casting descriptions reminded me of those types of people.
Like I say I probably will be spectacularly wrong.
They've been out and about shooting today. No one seems to have got any photos yet though, so here's the first look at Ncuti in "Barbie" until we get something.
Almost front and center in the trailer and standing next to Ryan Gosling. Yeah. I don't think he'll do more than 2 to 3 years as the doctor since Hollywood's already knocking at his door.
Knowing Ncuti's love of fashion I'd be surprised if we don't get several variations of this.

Capaldi wore his real wedding ring, though they added a second band to it to disguise it.

I was hoping someone would make a joke that the van is the TARDIS lol. The new outfit looks more like it belongs on the runaway for a winter clothing line. It's more relaxed like Capaldi's later styles but not too costumey like maybe Davison or past doctors.
