Wow. I haven't been there since around 2006-7 when they stopped people posting even clearly marked Spoilers but looks like they're still the same idiots. Posting the video or photos will in no way cause anything to be shut down. If it did Twitter would have died long ago.

I have to say that I am impressed. They got the console right. I was never happy with those prior to the one that Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi used. Jodie’s looked unfinished, as if we were looking at the infrastructure onto which a holographic console could be generated and rest. This new one is perfectly proportioned. I like it and hope it stays with the Doctor, both David and Ncuti, for a long time.
There's no in-universe reason to redesign the interior, at least not as of The Power of the Doctor,which has me a bit worried that they're doing it 'just because', which is never really a good justification.
Aside from The Five Doctors when was there ever an on screen justification in the classic series? Or, in the modern, what justified Smith 1 to Smith 2, to Capaldi?

It's been established for some time now that the Doctor changes his tardis room whenever the mood strikes, not just when there's been some disaster. There was no particular reason given for 3rd Doctor's changes, or why the 4th doctor had a wood-and-brass theme for his secondary room. 7th doctor at some point decided to go with the giant console room, but the 8th reverted (or War Doctor did, I can't remember descriptions of 8th's tardis from Big Finish). 9 seems to have gotten a new one as soon as he regenerated. 11 again seemed to just feel like a change after Amy and Rory left.
The Doctor is changing the desktop setting. There, in-universe explanation which has precedent within the show.

What the hell's wrong with using Ruth's TARDIS interior?! It was fantastic!
It was largely put together from pieces of the Adventures in Time and Space console room, I think, and it was only intended for occasional use as a "guest" TARDIS. I doubt it was a robust enough set to hold up to continuous use.
Besides, it was meant to represent an "early" TARDIS, pre-Hartnell. This new one may be going back to a classic aesthetic in some ways, but it's still meant to be the current model.
Exactly, that was the "default" desktop theme.
If the Tardis detects you are evil you get the dark theme like the Rani or The Master's TARDISes

Wasn't the Rani's pink? I'd hardly call it dark.
I recall it being black in The Mark of the Rani.
Nothing could induce me to re-watch Time and the Rani, so i am not sure about the interior by then. I know they did not reuse the initial set though from Mark of the Rani (It actually looked really good by late 80's DW "standards")
I think we're both right - it had blackish grey walls but with pink lighting.

That one is a completely different design, whereas the Master's was a darkened version of the Doctor's console room.
Yes... I wasn't talking about the Master's console room though.
