Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

In 2022 I learned that there are men who refuse to wipe their butt because hygiene is not manly and touching themselves there would make them gay. So instead, they have skidmarks. And also leave skidmarks. In the bed. On the sofa. In the car. In public. Why?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So I just watched The Thirteenth Floor, which for anybody who's never seen it, deals with people putting their consciousnesses into their own doppelgangers in a simulated world.

Ooooo, I love that movie! I need to pull it out and watch it again.

:barf:

Hey, all... the Voyager 5-word story just reached 30,000 posts, or about 150,000 words (a little more maybe, since a few six-word posts did happen). That's almost as long as the first two "Harry Potter" books combined.

Just found out/heard that a good online friend on one of the other boards I post a fair bit on is in ICU and probably won’t survive much longer.

So sorry to hear about your friend. :(

That sounds so stupid that it has to be parody, right?! Your source wasn't The Onion, by any chance?

F**king cancer…

His nickname is ‘The Ambassador’ as he always greeted each newbie/poster on the board personally with a ‘Welcome to the Nuthouse’ message, etc. Just a Certifiable Good Egg / Person all around.

Damn.

Cheers,

There have been a few threads on Reddit about it, and completely separate of Reddit someone tweeted a photo of a chair from a public event. You don't want to see the chair.

One is the integration from birth to death of life realized by the change in time. The now illusion is the time reality.

You don't want to see the chair.

Well, you're certainly right about that.

I guess it's some kind of statement on the tenacity of humanity that no matter how low we go as a species, there is always someone out there trying to lower the bar. Or something.

AI said, There are many things that we can change that would make things better. Some possible changes that could improve the world include: reducing poverty and inequality, addressing climate change and environmental degradation, promoting peace and understanding between different groups, improving access to education and healthcare, and reducing discrimination and prejudice. These are just a few examples of the many changes that could be made to improve the world, and the specific changes that would be most beneficial would depend on the specific circumstances and challenges facing a given community or society. Ultimately, the key to making things better is to identify the problems and challenges that we face and to work together to find solutions and make positive changes.

Please list your transcendental states of mind in order of importance?

Asking AI,.. It is difficult to say what the transcendental states of mind are, let alone order them in terms of importance, as the concept of "transcendental states of mind" is broad and can refer to a wide range of mental states. In general, transcendental states of mind are those that go beyond the ordinary or mundane, and are associated with experiences of spiritual or mystical significance. Examples of such states of mind may include meditation, prayer, and spiritual contemplation. However, it is not possible to say which of these states, if any, are more important than others, as their significance and value can vary greatly among individuals.

As good as I am with children, I think I would have sucked as a parent. When I was working with them, I always had 15 hours a day by myself to recharge. Parents don't get that.
