The scene where Jyn and Cassian are captured by stormtroopers and rescued by Chirrut and Baze. It's never focused on, always in the background, you pretty much have to know it's there to notice it.
I'm pretty sure I also saw another X-Wing parked outside Saw's headquarters while his men are evacuating (right after Saw says "Save the rebellion...save the dream"). I'm sorry, I've never seen either of those series.
Ok, well the Partisans were an extremist group as part of the Rebel Alliance, and so had received X-Wings and U-Wings as part of the fight against the Empire. However, the Partisans tended to be very judicious in their use of force, and didn't care about civilian casualties as long as they attacked the Empire.
Well, I'm sure there are some trials out there, as well as if you have Hulu there is a bundle option with Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN.
Well, Andor season 1 just finished, you could sub for a month and binge it and cancel (if you have time), only 12 episodes. Rebels would take a lot longer though since it's full 4 season 75 episode series.
Cancel one of them and get Disney Plus for one month to watch Andor. There's nothing better currently on any of those other services. Then you can switch back and catch up on anything you might have missed.
That doesn't quite track given . . . Spoiler: Andor Saw already has a squadron of his Cavern Angels two or three years before the Alliance was even formed. While they haven't said exactly how Saw got them; there's basically two possibilities: 1) he stole them from Incom's mothball yards. 2) he used some of the cash from the Kessel heist (yes, he's the one Enfys Nest gave the coaxium to) to buy them off the black market. Either way, it's reasonably to presume that he's the reason the Alliance got X-Wings, not the other way around. Indeed they didn't show up in Rebels until very late on. Like, literally a few months prior to the events of Rogue One. At the top of season 4, the massassi group seemed to be still mostly flying Y-Wings.
