DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Yeah, I mean, admittedly I've blocked a bunch of people on the forum because I find them impossible to talk to, but I don't see anyone using "he/him" pronouns for Ezra in posts here on the recent news
Lol it was me, but not on purpose. I was thinking of Flash, not Ezra.

Also you find people impossible to talk to because they use the wrong pronouns?

No, I meant I've blocked a bunch of people so they may have been using the wrong pronouns here in this thread and I never would know, so those posts could have been what Digific was referring too

It's really not that difficult to use the correct pronouns for Miller.

* sigh *

But hey, as long as WB gets their reshoots out of him before then, they're happy.

I'm the culprit, apologies. No harm was meant, went back and edited the post.

(Also, passive aggressiveness isn't necessarily, I'm more than willing to fix my mistake when called out)

I almost made the same mistake today with Miller's pronouns, and only caught myself because I looked up their Wiki page and got reminded. And just there I almost said "his" again in the previous sentence. The important thing is to keep trying...

Yeah, posters on a site accidently using the wrong pronouns isn't that big of an issue for me, but a site like Deadline doing it, is pretty bad. You'd think a place like that would be a lot more careful about that kind of thing.

With news that they might be making a MoS 2 with Cavil, they are finally making the right decisions. Lets just hope it is true.

Went looking to see if there was any source for this beyond the usual "Dude on Twitter," and it seems there is. From The Hollywood Reporter:
Under Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and Warner Bros. Pictures heads Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, Warners has an intense desire to reprise the Cavill iteration of the hero. The project that would essentially be Man of Steel 2 is being produced by Charles Roven and is currently in a search for writers. (There is a wishlist, of course. And Christopher McQuarrie, the hand that guides the Mission: Impossible movies was on it. McQuarrie worked with Cavill on the 2018 installment, Fallout, but sources say no official outreach has been made nor may it be feasible, as the director is working on the next back-to-back Impossible installments.)

Good news if true. Zaslav has mostly seemed to be a force of chaos and destruction, but one can easily see a bottom-line obsessed exec asking, "How can we not be making money off Superman?"

From the start, Zaslav has stated his intent is to focus on the DC "trinity" of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman as the heart of the DCEU. With Cavill, Gadot and Affleck each appearing in planned scenes and recent reshoots of films slated for release, it would appear your hope may have the weight of evidence behind it. As Dwayne Johnson has said on many occasions, those behind the DC films are listening to the fans, and Cavill as Superman has been / continues to be one of the most consistently supported parts of the DCEU.

It would be wonderful of Man of Steel 2 goes into production.

So, it seems Charles Roven--one of the executive producers of most of the DCEU films (most importantly, Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of justice, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad and Zach Snyder's Justice League to name a few) will produce Man of Steel 2. Interesting WB is bringing him back to steer the Superman sequel, instead of trying to go with a completely new producing talent as part of this next phase.

It would be great to see a new Superman movie. If this is set in the same universe, it would be good to acknowledge that 10-15 years have passed and our characters have grown. Would love to see Lois and Clark with a young Jonathan.
