NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

Since the playoffs expanded to 14 teams, no team starting 0-2 has made the playoffs.

Only a couple of years, but not a good sign…although maybe with 17 games it’s not as relevant.

Not a Cardinals fan, but I can't complain that Josh McDaniels got another loss.

There's some rumblings that the way McDaniels does things doesn't let Carr cook, to take from another QB.

Never under-estimate da' man fer tryin' to multiply revenue..

Aaaaaand, the Bears are....who we thought they were (especially vs the Packers), at night, in Lamblow). But never stop trying.

Colts are a disaster - you can point fingers at Ryan and the practice-squad WRs but it all comes down to the way this team is built and coached. They don't show up to a road game against Jacksonville... the team that literally ended their season last year. Inexcusabe. Reich and Ballard are gone by the end of the year.

Nathaniel Hackett is not ready for prime time at all. Took too long to decide to kick the field goal, delay of game negates the field goal, Denver has to punt instead.

I remember Dave Shula going 2-0 in his first season in Cincinnati. So I wouldn’t judge Hackett just yet.

I love watching the Bills normally, but the entire team has looked like they are just having a good time playing football out there. Makes it fun.

It also makes them good. They're already 2-0 and placed second in AFC-East. It's always enjoyable when a team just clicks and everything's running as it should be. My teams (Washington & Denver) haven't seen that in quite some time now. I've pretty much given up on the "Commanders" (stupid name, IMO) and won't have much interest in them until "Dark Heart" Snyder either finally decides to sell the team or is removed for all the vile shit he's done, but I still hold out some hope that Hackett can aggregate his fecal matter and make the Broncos start to sing. Right now, though, it doesn't look good. Russell Wilson is not the primary problem.

Short-handed Bucs sign Cole Beasley to the practice squad. Reportedly he was the WR that Tom Brady wanted them to go get. I didn't know he had been kicked to the curb and was unsigned. He has been fined almost $100,000 by the league for multiple COVID-19 protocol violations.

Beasley was with the Bills last year. But yeah he was very vocal about the whole COVID thing especially before the season even started. Got quiet after but they didn't keep him on.

Teams hate public distractions and he was a very public distraction.
