What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

There are specialty grocery stores that import it and have it in their frozen section. Look for a British or Irish goods store. And occasionally you might find a local butchery that makes the stuff. It's cured differently from American bacon, so it needs to be specially-made. There used to be a butcher twenty minutes from me that specialized in it, but they closed down. So now I have to drive over an hour to an import shop. I've seen some labeled as "Danish bacon" but I'm not sure if that means it's actually made/eaten in Denmark or if that's just a brand name.

The pringles of the sea bet you cant eat just one..

was not trying to postcount spam just more comb over my provocative postings… i try to write in the style of the early pulpers… and that means made up words, and absurd blather spritzed in to beef the word count and generally serve the purpose of garnishing the unpallatable!!

i think roddenberry really wanted to be burroughs tho, the closest parallel i can think of to tos is adam wests batman for the absurdity and revolution around rock em sock em brawls

the problem with all these neowesternmorphs… which i think encompasses most mainstream sci fi (somehow)

Not enough focus on trees/plants and autotrophic life…

westerns… u cut them trees and build a house!!

scifi somehow budded from that root

fantasy has em beat there martin, rigney, tolkien…. It all roots back to the trees

asimov pictured a miles deep fully metal planet almost devoid of plants or other life than humans… extinct or displaced 99.999%

My maybe absurd opinion is that were not gonna make it to space unless we can make nice with what are really symbiotic partners!

none of the prophetic future media depicts the compromises a species in our position will likely have to make! At all

its all rubber stamp the past onto the future in that regard an ugly blind spot

once again tho i think trek has a unique place here !

perhaps pioneering new platforms other than the silver screen!
Break into vr First! No one else really has

Call it the holodeck and make it educAtional!

page 500 this should be published as a star trek novel!

Star Trek: Controversy

coming soon to a bookstore near you

P.s. we have an in house bacon master here … I will consult with him later about the good recipe!!!

I’m all rambled out!

more than anything I wanted to provide an entertaining story!

Star Trek: Controversy: The untold story. (Maybe shatner would agree to have his name on the cover?)

I live in Miami, FL. There aren't any British or Irish types of stores here. Mostly latin eateries and butchers. (Like, 85%.)
