So does this mean... Spoiler ... they will also announce a Star Trek: Titan series today, starring Seven and Raffi?
Spoiler Unfortunately this version is worse than Torangeau’s version. It’s basically an updated TMP Constitution class with nuStargazer nacelles. Unless the trailer is being taken out of context, and that ship isn’t actually the Titan. It could be the Enterprise-F, or a refit of the Enterprise-A. And I guess Spacedock isn’t a museum, like RMB stated.
Spoiler Now that you mention it, I suspect there's a bit of misdirection here. Maybe we do see the exterior of the Titan -- at the beginning of the trailer. It looks like a Luna Class. The other ship is too Enterprise-y to be anything other than a new Enterprise. I also suspect Riker's line "Hello, beautiful!" in the shuttle is when they're approaching the Ent-D saucer (hence the cutaway as the camera pans out the window).
the ship at the very start looks like one of Eaves designs for the old STO but with a central bar between the nacelles.
It says Titan on the shuttlebay When the Titan goes to warp, the station to the right is the same design as Jupiter Station
If so, then that ship is completely at odds with what is seen in Lower Decks... I mean, not that every fan has to watch Lower Decks, but I imagine that internally among all the current shows, they're aware of the Titan being on Lower Decks already.
Maybe it's a Titan-A then. Lower Decks is almost 20 years ago in universe. There were Luna Classes in Season 2 of Picard.
I couldn’t see the name as the lighting was too dark. And on that note, could the bridge be any darker too? Why on Earth would they build a 25th century ship that looks like a 23rd century ship? Oh, wait…(looks at the Excelsior II and Obena classes.) Guess this is Starfleet’s new design aesthetic. God I wish Eaves would stop recycling old designs.
Oh my god. The Titan, Terry showed us the Saucer of it in January. Look it has the TMP style phasers, as does the titan. Terry posted this as 'back to work' january 7th, they were filming Season 3 in January It was never used, so I don't mind, plus it was pretty modified.
