The images for Marvel Zombies also show what looks like that Jimmy Woo, I wonder if the Gizmodo correspondent got confused.

Unless Season 2 is going to show the zombie world again.
Possibly. They admit they're reporting live from the scene and things will change as they update. I did notice that when I looked back at the Zombies story (I only glanced at it initially because I don't really care about it).

Those images don’t really look like they fit the MCU Spidey. And I don’t mean in terms of looks, but they have a whole rogue gallery including Osborn, who MCU Peter doesn’t know..

Also a version of Doc Ock, whom MCU Peter definitely didn't know before NWH, and Doctor Strange, whom Peter didn't meet until Infinity War. And there's no sign of Ned among Peter's friends. It's clearly not set in the MCU, despite the quote in the article. (Except in the sense that the MCU contains the multiverse, I guess.)

Reports are that Zombies series is TV MA which would be interesting. It's one thing for Disney to air some TV MA content now but to actually produce it opens up some possibilities.

Curious...I wonder what causes her to fight against the Hydra Stomper.

I was going to say Steve but perhaps it's not Steve inside?

The first images of Spider-Man: Freshman Year are out...and will feature Charlie Cox as Daredevil. The series is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2024 and will also feature Paul F. Thomkins as Bentley Whittman.
I'm gonna be a spoilt child here and say that i'm disappointed it's not connected to the MCU because if they aren't going to do that then why not give us a continuation of the 90s animated series like they are doing with X-Men 97.
But it looks nice. I like the design and I think it will be fun to watch. Seems like they might be doing the Identity Crisis story from the 90s comics in some way.

Yeah, if Spider-Man Freshman Year isn't actually going to be MCU canon, then it's going to be just yet another Spider-Man cartoon amongst the legion and it's been a long time since one has gotten me interested.

BTW, news is out that Marvel has trademarked the following titles
'Avengers Secret Wars'
'Avengers The Kang Dynasty'
'Captain America New World Order'
'Multiverse Saga'
'Thunderbolts"

So is the 'Multiverse Saga' it's own film I wonder....

I think they trademarked 'Infinity Saga' in the past, too, so the multiverse saga is more like that.

The recent Marvel's Spider-Man was pretty good, though its 6-episode third season was weaker than the first two 26-episode seasons. It had Dan Slott's involvement and used a lot of the characters and concepts from his well-regarded run on the comics, albeit reintepreted for a high school setting.

At this point, it would be refreshing to see a Spidey animated series that wasn't set in his high school years. We haven't had one since that weak 2003 cel-shaded series that purported to be a sequel to the first Raimi movie and thus had the characters in college.

That episode of What If was apparently shown in full at Comiccon (according to what I heard from Marc Bernardin on the Fatman Beyond Podcast/show) and

Its Steve Rogers, basically being Captain Carter's version of Winter Soldier (supposed dead friend coming back, but controlled).

Fascinating. I do not believe i've ever heard anyone say they favored the cartoons over the comics. Over live action--yes, but never the comics.
Comics always lacked a something to engage me. As a once in a while thing, sure. Occasionally a longer series will draw me in but as a preferred way? Not a chance.
