I would hope that he's just making a joke. Grogu looks like a baby version of Yoda (obviously), who first appeared 4 years before the first Gremlins movie. He really doesn't much look like a Gremlin at all, anyway.

Hmm...Gizmo and Grogu do have similar mannerisms at times, but that's more than likely coincidental. Other than the ears, they don't have much else in common, IMO. And Yoda's kind had the ears four years before Gizmo came around.
Eh. I smell an out of context quote from a larger interview, pushed for the sake of a clickbait headline. I seriously doubt Dante is genuinely salty about this.
Ok...and? Storytelling is often made up of excuses to keep the drama going.
But, if I'm being generous, Grogu's choice may well serve as a reflection of what Din will go through and his decision regarding the Children of the Watch, and Bo Katan and the future of Mandalore.

I doubt they'll re-release this one 1:1.
The next public trailer will more than likely not be this one, it will probably share some footage, unless they really wanted some of that to be exclusive.
Also the Audio and video really isn't the poor, you can make out everything clearly

I'm not bothered if I don't get to see all the same shots. I'll see all the shots when the show comes out anyway.
These days I limit how much trailer footage I see for something I like, otherwise I feel like I've already seen all the cool stuff before it even starts, and I like to be surprised!
There might be some High Republic stuff, especially the comics, but in terms of live action I'd be surprised if there's anything other than some more general promotion for Andor and toy/merch related stuff. Maybe a final Bad Batch trailer, or second teaser, but I doubt it.
D23 is less than a few months off (and after Andor comes out IIRC) so that's where we're more likely to see anything new, including Bad Batch, Mandalorian, Ahsoka, etc.
