    What about the Deneva Parasites being in a war with the Conspiracy bugs?

    Another controversial view you seem to have: that Lower Decks is abbreviated LOW and...I'm guessing Short Treks (?) is abbreviated SHO.

    SHO = Star Trek: The Next Generation. Obviously.

    Lower Decks = LDs
    Short Treks = STs

    Yes, capitalization matters!

    DS9 = Deep Space Nine
    TOS = The Original Series
    Dsc = Discovery

    The Movies need a bit more information for clarity IMO:
    • ST01:TMP = "Star Trek: The Motion Picture"
    • ST02:TWoK = "Star Trek: The Wrath of Kahn"
    • ST11:2k9 = "Star Trek (2009)"
    • ST12:ID = "Star Trek: Into Darkness"
    • ST13:B = "Star Trek: Beyond"

    That if we let the Kelvin-verse die without any more movies, Chris Pine can cross-deck and replace Wesley as James Kirk in SNW.

    He'd eat up all the budget sadly. We'd get a whole season set in present day Canada.

    Chris wants to be paid millions of dollars to do a couple weeks work.

    Paul is willing to be paid, bless his cotton socks, just thousands of dollars to work for 8 months a year.

    Chris might work for scale, for a special occasion, if he is feeling generous.

    Yah. Don't care. We need a 'Kirk' in SNW who signals James T. Kirk. Wesley ain't that guy- sorry.

    They can't afford Christopher Pine, period.

    He's too expensive, so unless Christopher Pine is willing to take a serious pay cut, it ain't happening.

    Vampire Diaries was huge.

    Paul even as the way less sexier brother, can pull some of that audience, who buys key chains and novelty monopoly sets, over to this side of the fandom.

    Although a first-rate series, I believe "Deep Space Nine" is overrated and had failed to reach its potential of being the best Trek show. I barely like Season Six and disliked most of Season Seven. Instead, I would rate it just as good or bad as "Next Generation" and "Voyager". I also believe "Strange New Worlds" is basically a rehash of both "The Original Series" and to a certain degree, "Next Generation", but with a different lead. This is something I do not like.

    If they wanted to bring in Pine to play Kirk they probably could afford him, the budgets on the nu-Trek shows seems pretty big. It just might mean they have to do one or two eps that aren’t as VFX heavy with simple stories. Like every one of the “classic Trek” series had to do from time to time.

    you just don’t know what his asking price would be.
