Pretty sure Memory Alpha's wrong. They claim the entire season will drop the same day, which none of the current Star Treks do that, and I'm not sure any show on Paramount+ drops whole seasons on the same day.

Indeed, a quick Google search confirms an official premiere date for season 3 has not been announced. My guess is with SNW's finale airing next week, we'll get an announcement concerning the next series to premiere afterwards. Maybe even on the SNW finale's Ready Room episode?

I do too. I really wish we would have gotten another trailer or news. I get the need to wait till Comic Con, but it's been so long since we had updates on when the various shows are coming back that it feels too quiet in terms of Trek news, at least for the Animated shows. I just wish Comic Con didn't turn into "upfronts for nerds" as it's had in the last several years. It's gotten too big for it's britches.

Not only that but I reread the January news about the various release dates and it said Lower Decks Season 3 was coming this summer. August seems to be the most realistic guess.

I figured as much, since they have PRO being released the same day as LD in 2022, and have PIC S3 & SNW S2 set for the same December release date but in 2023.

LD so far has been a yearly late summer release, and it makes sense to expect the same for S3.

I gotta say it was a bit jarring to go from watching a show like SNW which went back to Star Trek roots to a show like lower decks with its slap stick comedy and characters like boomler and mariner.

I’ve unfortunately been down with COVID this weekend but it has given me the opportunity to rewatch the first two seasons of Lower Decks. Man, this really is a great show. The character dynamics work wonderfully and you truly care for the crew by the end of the second season finale. Very much looking forward to season three soon.

Thanks! Definitely on an upswing now. Worst thing has been a really bad headache that’s been fairly consistent and it hurt to talk yesterday into this morning. Headache is duller and it doesn’t hurt to talk any more. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

if it’s anything like what I dealt with 2 weeks ago, worse thing now is going to be a nagging cough. Cough drops help with that
