Say what? When was that version of Tomorrow People made?

26 episodes. 1990. All on YouTube.

British show using the sexy former Neighbours teen idol Christian Schmidt to rope in the female audience and awaken the nascent homosexuality yearning to run amok in millions of 14 year old British schoolboys.

Haha you should write for TV..... That's interesting. I have not seen this version but for one terrible episode involving Hitler and balloon monsters which had terrible special effects.

The Hitler episodes, and the balloon episodes were from the 70s era.

I was young enough when the original show came out, I could not see the imperfections.

Early 2000s Big Finish produced 2 dozen audio plays using the original cast from the seventies. I'm not positive when the series is set from memory, but John from the 70s is bald on the CD jacket covers.

Thank you... I just remembered that wrong. I remember the episode because it had his face melting and it looked so badly done, and the balloon aliens called ballvoids or something. Did the 70s show have a teenage girl in what looked like almost lingerie? I seem to remember that as she was in a scene with them talking to their computer

    8 seasons, 6 years, 68 episodes.

The doctor who format. Most of the stories took four episodes to tell, but some only took two.

The cast was inconstant. People coming and going for no reason.

As they were competing with Benny Hill, the dress code was often not appropriate for the weather.

Oh good lord why would a show like this have to compete with Benny Hill of all things?

Speaking of old Benny that was a weekly staple of TV here on a Wednesday night when it was brand new.

    YouTube said 1990.

    Imdb later said 1992.

I couldnt summon the male cheese power required to come back and fix it.

    Still can't.

OK I just got a copy of Counterpart season 1, and Fawlty Towers.

There is a season 2 of Counterpart but the transfer quality seems a bit bad from reviews.

Fawlty Towers is still a great watch. Of course aspects of it wouldn't see the screen today I can stumble on a rerun and have an enjoyable half sn hour.

I'm not saying Payne was a loyal adaptation, but in the year 2000 they abused the Indian (from India) Bellhop for being too Indian every episode.

It's still one of my favourites from the time. I don't care for critics. It's something I am fond of and grew up with. I mentioned Benny Hill a while back and a few years back I was offered dvd rips of the show but turned that down. I have fond memories of the show but just wasn't sure I'd find half of that a funny now as I did when it was on TV all those years ago.

The only reason I was cautiously optimistic is because Michael Schur is involved. Otherwise, I wouldn't care at all because I'm such a big fan of the film.

Was Schur planning to turn the Field of Dreams concept into a sitcom? I'm looking over his IMDb credits, and they're outstanding — SNL, The Office, Parks & Rec, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place — but he's definitely stuck to a particular side of the street.

Bryan Cranston says Your Honor is ending after two seasons since it was a limited series. Showtime hasn't said anything.

I enjoyed it but cant imagining watching 3,4,5 seasons of it.
Season 2 could be ok as it picks up the aftermath of season 1 but that should be enough.
