The craziest part? I noticed it while dreaming last night in bed. I think I had to be in REM sleep to be thinking that abstractly

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. In my absence, it was discovered I have a hole in my heart. Nothing needs to be done, I’ll be fine, it’s small enough I won’t need surgery, it turns out I was born with it. As we are developing, we all have a hole that’s supposed to close, mine didn’t. It was discovered when I thought I was having a heart attack in September so I got to ride in an ambulance to emergency and get a bunch of tests and sent to a heart clinic for an ultrasound about a month later. Also had a stress test. The diagnosis for the “heart attack” is that it actually wasn’t one, it was basically built up stress that finally burst. Scariest thing ever, yet, my life didn’t flash before my eyes.

Damn, I'm glad that it wasn't a heart attack - it's good that everything will be OK. Good luck with everything.

I'm glad that you don't have to have surgery for it.

Stress is the silent killer. Look out for yourselves. It sneaks up on you…I don’t know what it feels like to be stressed, I can’t describe it…sure, there are things that have bothered me, but, I wasn’t losing sleep over it, wasn’t falling in to depression, nothing deep like that. Just goes to show how easy it is to have it.

People react to and have differing tolerances to all manner of stimuli. What might have been dangerous, critical stress for you might not be for someone else, & everyone's reactions to it can differ as well. Some people might show no signs at all of it affecting them dangerously, & some people might suffer brutal symptoms throughout.

I'm happy for you that things have improved :)

Thank you all for your condolences and love. It's been a rough week. I really feel for my cousin (my uncle's son) and wish I wasn't 3000 miles away right now so I could hug him and cry with him.

    Take care of yourself, hon!

Ham is no longer a topping you can custom order online from Domino's. You want ham, you have to pick one of their more expensive specialty pizzas that lists ham as a topping. The place you order from might actually have a lot of ham, but the only way to get it on a custom order is over the phone.

There's an action figure of a Vorgon from "Captain's Holiday" on Ebay.

When I was at a training session for my job, years ago, some of the people at my table were in the Navy and they told me about a really obnoxious fellow employee they worked with named Bob. Behind his back they called him Bobnoxious. I have considered changing from Velocity to Bobnoxious one day just for grins and giggles.

Well the stripes represent the 13 original colonies. So that's probably Georgia and South Carolina?

Those TV shows where the protagonist doesn't do things by the book -- much to the chagrin of others -- yet the plot is always resolved because of the protagonist's eccentricities, do you think it gets old after a while for the actors who play characters who clash with the protagonist and are always wrong every single episode? You think they'd learn after 100 episodes.
