At 2:48 that 9-pin serial RS232 connector that doubled as the prop to move it while filming (the glorious beauty/lighting/other passes with the motion-control gear) is something that should be turning everyone on!

Wait a minute, wasn't that shuttle model considered lost? I seem to recall reading about the model going missing and some DS9 production staff claiming it was stolen. Its why they had to build a new shuttle for "The Sound of Her Voice". How'd it end up here?

Indeed! =D
Good use of old school serieal port

There was/is some cool stuff in that auction, and I was hoping to bid on something. Sadly the hammer prices on the first round yesterday ended up a bit too high for my bank account. Also OF COURSE my internet froze right when the Trek items were up. But according to the list, the Defiant model fetched a full $25,000.

Over to the right in the shuttle video there’s a bulky costume that I don’t think is Trek related, but it looks very familiar to me… It’s on the right side and is the closest costume on that side to the people speaking…

I was thinking it was an original BSG Cylon but it’s not chromed? Anyone recognise it?
