Spoilers 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' series [Spoiler Discussion]

I'd laugh if the potential duel from the next episode ends the same way as the flashback, with Obi-Wan force-pulling Vader's saber away from him and then sighing.

Leia defeats Vader in a light saber duel.

Obi-Wan wipes Leia's memory and the Emperor wipes Vader's memory.

I know the Sith body hopping bullshit is hard to remember, because it's shit.

There is no Sith Culture, or Sith History, or maybe it's just deceptively small and short.

Sith Culture and Sith History is just one dude who eats children, and the more children he eats the longer he lives.
At this point my head canon is that Zombie Palps was so deranged and out of his constantly rotting brain by the end that he was just spouting incoherent nonsense. All that body hopping talk was just delusional nonsense.

The dumb part of it all was that it *could* have made some semblance of sense if they'd taken their cues from how the alter on Dathomir worked. Make the "Sith Throne" such an artefact that captures the minds/souls of Sith Masters at death. They're still conscious and can possess bodies, but they burn through them fast and they're still forever physically trapped in that place. Palpatine's plan should have been to try and escape the throne. I mean can you imagine that thing full of every Sith Master since Bane? That's hundreds of evil bastards that all hate each other, mostly because they all murdered each other and still ended up trapped in the damn chair anyway. They would even explain the crowd of weird cultists; those ARE the other Sith lords, even crazier and more corpsified than Sidious.

As for Sith "culture and history"; most of it is going to be pre-Bane anyway, since that's when there were legitimately thousands of them running competing Empires all over the galaxy for millennia. Everything since then has just been a tiny cult holding onto scraps of what was.

What the hell was that with the ship at the end of ep5?? What the hell was supposed to of happened there?

It's the opposite of "The Rise of Skywalker," where it was really obvious there were two Stormtrooper Landers, until just before one blew up, and suddenly the second one was nowhere to be seen.

Unambiguous dialogue cannot be glossed over; Vader saying "When I left you.." points to a fixed time or moment in their history, and its beyond debate that in the AOTC-era flashbacks, Anakin was nowhere near leaving Obi-Wan to be a full knight (or even at the point of embracing the Dark Side in ROTS).
Not in the flashbacks, but in the present.
