Feige variant incoming
Reminds me of back in 1998 when Armageddon had well done posters that made it look like buildings had been hit by meteors. Got them in trouble cause people thought something had really happened.
I suspect this is where the recent subplot with Julia Louis-Dreyfus is heading. I've recently wondered if the introduction of Dreyfus as Val was in response to William Hurt's illness and his inability to continue on as Thaddeus Ross.
Failing all that it'll most likely be a grab-bag of comic characters that haven't shown up in the MCU yet, but I feel like doing that will only serve to telegraph which are going to get killed off.
No, I just meant that if they dropped in some random new characters (or even returning D-listers) to fill out the team, it's going to feel like they're telegraphing that they're disposable, whether they actually kill them off or not. They'll probably use faceless goons of some stripe to fill it out if need be.I don't think that should be a huge consideration. The Thunderbolts don't need to be a Suicide Squad style deathfest.
Yep and then they tried to be actual heroes. The selling point of Thunderbolts is that they're villains pretending to be heroes. Nothing like Suicide Squad except on a most basic level.
If they do bring in new characters beyond what have already been established in the mcu, I would love to see them bring in Screaming Mimi/Songbird. I loved her arc from villain to realizing she actually liked being a hero.
