DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Yeah, they’ve spent $100Ms on it. If they’re smart, their contract with Miller has a reputational detriment clause which would get them out of paying percentage points (if there were any in his contract to begin) or other incentive or performance bonuses, but they’re not going to never release it somehow somewhen.

Let's also not forget, Keaton's Batman is in Batgirl, a movie set in the DCEU, and establishing Keaton in the DCEU is in The Flash. To not release The Flash would mean to either also sit on another completed movie (one that does not feature Miller), or at least severely restructuring it, and if they did that, they could just as well put that effort into The Flash.

But, honestly, I do not envy WB's marketing department. Between Miller's toxic behaviour and a multi-million signature petition to remove Amber Heard completely from Aquaman 2, they have their work cut out for them.

Hey folks, did you think we'd already reached peak Ezra Miller awfulness? Sadly not.

WB might have to get creative. Is it legally possible to digitally replace Miller with a different actor? Should be technologically possible, but I'm not sure if it breaks some SAG rule.

I can’t see how it would be any different from Christopher Plummer replacing Kevin Spacey, though obviously more daunting, given that Spacey/Plummer had a supporting rather than lead role

Black Adam trailer is out. I don't like it.

^Actually posted that on the last page, but then the latest Ezra Miller news broke and we were kind of busy discussing that.

I actually do like the trailer. Although the "Heroes don't kill" line certainly establishes this as outside of the Snyder-verse.

Getting back on Miller, if it is both technically and legally possible to digitally replace them, the greatest challenge would be to find a good replacement star who could carry a possible franchise, and quickly, too.

They can't even digitally erase a mustache without it looking like ass.

The Flash will get released, Miller and all.

As for the petition to remove Heard from the Aquaman sequel, WB should give the MRA/incel vote all the respect it deserves.

Would Johnny Depp have been erased from a movie he already finished?
