Was the padawan in the crypt one of those in the first scene of the first episode?
Quite possible. Two of them appear to have the same outfit and are about the same size, and the one standing on the right after Master Velti was killed looks to have the same face. Hard to be sure though what with the helmet and the differing angles & lighting of the two shots. Was the padawan in the crypt one of those in the first scene of the first episode?
Watching episode 4 and I kept expecting Leia to say that they were on Dantooine.
It was okay but I want to some more Hayden. Seems like a waste to have him in the Vader suit. That’s boring.
Are we supposed to know who those people were in the basement? I didn’t recognise any of them
Leia now knows who Obi-Wan (or "Ben") is, yet this awareness--and relationship is not evident in her holo-message sent to Obi-Wan in Star Wars; the way she points out that "Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars" always sounded like she never knew Obi-Wan at all, but was informed (by her father, obviously) to find this person during the war / crisis over the Death Star. Leia is not an infant; at 10 years old, she's old enough to retain so memorable a series of events (such a being kidnapped, fleeing the Empire, Inquisitors--and her bond with Obi-Wan) for the rest of her life, so it does not line up with the way she addresses Obi-Wan in Star Wars.
I think TROS is the worst star wars film ever made. I’d rather rewatch Nemesis and Insurrection back to back then experience that movie again. Was fucking amazing.
Leia's reaction to Ben's death is to console Luke. Her first instinct is always selfless compassion, which tells you everything you need to know about her and why she could have been every bit the Jedi Luke was, if she chose that path. Of course how much of that is her trying to avoid having to deal with her own crushing grief is another question, but this show does add a little extra context to that scene. The one thing that doesn’t really work yet for me, is that Leia at some point should have bonded with Luke over their common loss of Obi Wan/Ben.
He clearly displayed grief, while she never showed a direct reaction.
The way out of this, is that she never actually met him on the Death Star and only saw him very briefly from a distance.
The rest of the film takes place within hours in high crisis mode with the only downtime on the way to Yavin which focuses on Luke alone.
If they have bonded, it was entirely off screen.

Im not a sequel trilogy hater, TLJ is my second favourite film of the Skywalker Saga, and I rate TFA higher than the prequels.
Please note I was calling Palpatine's return "fucking amazing, not all of TROS. I do enjoy the film, and still rank TPM below all of the ST.TROS is an almost total garbage fire with just a handful of good scenes to attempt to redeem it. I don't love TLJ but at least it has a reason to exist and a coherent storyline with a beginning, middle and end and doesn't feel rushed.
It can be explained. Obviously the creators of this show took into consideration what occurred in the originals and wrote a story that would jive with the OT.
The Empire were hunting Jedi. And any Force sensitive people. It's possible she being the good rebel she is, would not let on she knew Kenobi even in a message like that. Or at least not let on she knew where he was.
It could have been intercepted. This way it just looks like a desperate attempt.
