The episode was bogged down with too much filler to meet a running time; its feels like there's just not enough story between this Leia plot and getting Obi-Wan back to Luke.
Obi-Wan may be out of practice, but I felt he was made to be too fearful or paranoid of Vader when he should not be at all--only cautious. Further, I believe Reva lied--telling Vader Obi-Wan killed the G.I.--and if Vader believed that, then he should have approached Obi-Wan with hesitation, if we are meant to assume the G.I. was a powerful practitioner with the Force.
Vader's appearance in this episode proved one thing: Hayden Christensen is no David Prowse; he lacks the build, swagger and presence Prowse created for a character concealed behind a mask and suit.
Finally, Reva's hope of getting what she wants comes off as shortsighted on her part, if she believes she will earn a status on Vader's level, possibly above that. Then again, Vader would never lead anyone on that they will ever reach his position (especially in relation to the Emperor), so one wonders what her ultimate goals are.

I understand lightsaber porn / fanservice when I see it. I was out of place and utterly inconsistent with Vader's behavior in the OT.

Dude was just strolling through town snapping necks left and right. And that was before he actually encountered Kenobi. He knows locals helped Kenobi, so they must now be punished. It will be interesting to see if he has to have mandatory bacta dunks after his fights.
To me, it seemed like Vader was intentionally slaughtering the townspeople to draw Kenobi out. He could sense Kenobi was nearby, but not precisely where. Vader may have thought if he killed enough locals, it would force Kenobi to face him to prevent more deaths...
Seems pretty consistent with exactly what the trailer showed.
