I was joking. I mentioned the four remakes they canceled and said they were replacing them with four remakes of the same genres.
As long as Superman is still going, they could cancel all the rest for all I care. Surprised about Mr Mayor. I thought people were enjoying that show.
I kind of wish the new V had gone a little farther than it did. Maybe one more season to get rolling. Alas…
Many of the jokes are L.A.-centric and may not be understood by non-Angelenos. And they throw a lot of jokes on a per minute basis and not all of them necessarily hit.
Roswell New Mexico actually filmed in New Mexico. Naomi filmed in Atlanta. Also not filmed in Vancouver: All American, Dynasty, In the Dark and Legacies.
Legacies has been treading water for a while. Grand Crew got renewed. Happy about that. It's another sitcom that wanted to call itself "Friends", but missed the mark by 30 years.
Riverdale ending with season 7 https://deadline.com/2022/05/riverdale-star-kj-apa-season-7-final-season-reaction-1235028252/amp/
Looks like KJ Apa's next gig after Riverdale has been canceled as well — he was set to co-star in a film about the Wonder Twins for HBO Max, but it got canned over budget costs. (To be fair, it's the Wonder Twins... $25 and a day-old burrito is too much to spend on a film about them, to say nothing of $35 million or $75 million.)
I actually enjoy Grand Crew, especially after a few episodes when they introduced the one bartender as a main character and potential romantic interest.
TBS canceled some dating competition show called The Big D right before it was going to air. There have already been commercials for it too.
It was yet another dating show--this time with all recently divorced people. Why anyone thought that was a good idea, I'll never know.
Why anyone thinks any of those trashy dating shows are a good idea is beyond me. Dating/love/marriage are not spectator sports, and should play out naturally, with a modicum of dignity and privacy. /grumpy old man rant
