    Considering the rising cost of groceries maybe we need to start growing our own stuff.

    Depending on how much space you have, you should always experiment at least with growing your own stuff.

    If the past few years have illustrated anything, it should be how thin the veneer of civilization actually is. Strip away modern conveniences (post industrial-revolution), and probably 95% of human effort and endeavor looking back was about us feeding ourselves.

    A little knowledge could go a long way in a pinch.
