I don't see why Starfleet would be worried about her, either. And I certainly wouldn't enjoy a show where she was forced into service. But then, that isn't SF's MO anyway.

Could I see them treating Seven with hostility, even threatening her or forcing her into SF, right after Voyager's return? Sure, particularly so soon after the war, when SF was depleted and probably steered by more hawkish people. But now... no. If SF was like that, I don't think three of our heroes would have rejoined.

Is Seven of Nine now a Captain? Could she now have a Stargazer spin-off? :mallory:

Nah. The most interesting part of Seven's life would be between the end of VOY and the beginning of PIC. Unless you recast her for earlier sections.

They did it for "Stardust City Rag".

Too many flashbacks ignore the woman Seven is TODAY.

Think positive. "The Best is Yet to Come." :)

I mean, she was a bounty hunter like Boba Fett. Which is cool but I'd prefer a Fenris Rangers show post-Picard.

However, they'd need Rios hologram and maybe, like a Borg drone that thinks she's the original Jurati.

    And Elnor.

I can see her wanting to settle down (Another day, another bar fight -- that has to get old REAL fast).

What better place to settle down than the Stargazer with Raffi as her first officer?

Ok, now that I've gotten my wish for a quick explanation of Seven turning Ranger, I vote YES! YES IN-FRAKING DEED, GIMME A CAPTAIN OF-NINE SPINOFF!

(Some more justification for her romance with Raffi would also be appreciated, but not at all a requirement.)

Might as well go for an Elnor emergency combat hologram spin-off series while we're at it. A deadly combat simulation that hunts down the scourge of the galaxy but also has an empathic sub-routine that offers a shoulder to cry on when needed.

The Qowat Milat are already making a killing selling Elnor holograms for 50,000 bars of latinum each, marketing them as "Your own personal lifelong Qowat Milat warrior ready to fight for your lost causes". I hear Vashti's quality of living has massively improved ever since. If only Romulan senator Adrev were around to see it.

I just occurred to me that IF we get a Seven or Seven and Raffi spinoff, it might be written by the same people who made season 2 of Picard what it is... Suddenly, I'm less eager for it.

If a spin-off happens I get the feeling she'd be one of the producers and have more creative imput if she gets the similar set of writers she got for the near disastrous S2 of PIC.

Are Rick Berman, Jeri Taylor and Branon Braga not around any more? What are they up to these days? Russel T Davies would do a good job collaborating on it too, maybe even Steven Moffat if it was all timey wimey? Ira Steven Behr etc… are they game? I think that it would be a case of making sure that any one or two writers or producers didn’t have *too* much power over the show, it would need to be a truly collaborative affair where no one had any vested interests or agenda that could not be agreed upon by a majority before actually being put to camera. Having writers originally involved in the 90’s and early naughties era of Star Trek who also helped produce and shape some of the original characters would make sense. A mix of old and new production staff perhaps? Established writers and production staff from other successful science fiction maybe to put their creative spin on to things? I would think that this would have been the case for any Star Trek spin-off show though past, present and future, not just for a Seven of Nine based one. There should be fluidity in the transitions between production staff to maintain some vestiges of integrity and an over arching structure to the franchise to ensure it’s longevity and survival as a viable television series.

Jeri? Maybe Michelle would, too. I've seen her on panels and in interviews, and she's so intelligent, reflected (is that even an English term?) and eloquent, I have to think she'd be great as a producer.

I believe the term you are looking for is "reflective" as defined:
    1. relating to or characterized by deep thought; thoughtful:
      "a quiet, reflective, astute man"

    Braga is producing The Orville.

Berman and Taylor are probably retired. (I saw on Twitter that Berman is writing a book.)
