Does anyone know why here in the UK we can only buy the [Kindle] YA novel version (which is about 100 pages shorter) of Star Trek: First Contact by John Vornholt, whilst across the pond in the US it's the complete version and written by J.M. Dillard?
I even popped across to the Simon & Schuster (UK) website hoping to see if it's there, but they too list only the YA version on the UK site. However, their US equivalent lists the complete Dillard version.
It seems a tad odd.
