From what it looks like, being the first episode deals with something pretty urgent, I agree.True.
Personally, docking a shuttle is a process. Pike probably was wanting to just go to work.

The first time onboard, yes definitely.Would you?
I suspect Pike is not eager for it.The first time onboard, yes definitely.
But after awhile, it probably does get tedious.
Besides have you seen the length and path design of the turbolift corridors in the Disco version of the 1701?It depends on how fast the plot is moving in relation to the speed of the turbolift.
It's brand new.Besides have you seen the length and path design of the turbolift corridors in the Disco version of the 1701?![]()
I'm thinking of Pike stepping off the transporter, saying, "Why isn't the Enterprise shuttlebay not operating, Mr. Hemmer?"
Hemmer: "Oh, a wee problem sir, just temporary."
That's pretty much what has been described about the character Pike's troubles.Does Pike look kinda pissed here? Is it possible he's bugging over his predestined fate? I think maybe...
SNW has its own TMP moment...
I'd worry about that, just in case ya can't spare any.So i could give them a piece of my mind.
I wonder if you're writing these things just as a joke, or if you're serious.Oh no...they have done it again.
I really do wish film makers would stop thinking that in the future people are going to live in a BLUE SATURATED world. Its not blade runner , its not twilight it's STAR TREK.
Not some nihilistic Max Max World. Even Mad Max did not have this crap lighting/blue filter.
And no its not cinematic.... It looks cheap and depressing and cheap...
Compare this murky/gloomy/dirty filmography to TMP or ST2/4/6 or even TNG/VOY/DS9
Is there a way to contact these people? To wake them up.
So i could give them a piece of my mind.

If you are serious: TMP was released murky, due to prints being sent wet to theatres, but was still murky. TWOK was dark and had dark overtones (including the Enterprise bridge!)
Of course, I'm sure Paramount would love to see examples of your work and how you would make it look better. No sense in having that talent wasted!
I really won't compare them, since they are 2 different things conveying 2 different things. Plus, TMP was shot for a movie on film stock, SNW is being shot digitally with different processes.Well compare that scene of the SNW over view with TMP overview. You will how crisp clean it was compared to this dinghy murky dark dismal looking blue light .
Actually, no.Well compare that scene of the SNW over view with TMP overview.
