I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this since it seems to have turned into a Zack Snyder thread but the resume of Stacy Caballero, who has worked on various MCU projects, lists Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio as part of the cast of "Echo".

You can see it here, though you'll probably need to be quick, as it will no doubt get changed soon: https://www.stacycaballerodesign.com/

I mean, we all knew Kingpin would be back in the Echo series. Makes sense Daredevil would be too.

I think this (also from her website) is the first look at the logo for the series.

I don't see the Echo logo, so it looks like it's been pulled off her site already.
It was pretty much a safe assumption that Kingpin would be back, and when you have him it makes sense Daredevil would show up too. Charlie Cox has also already said we'd see him again, and Echo does like a pretty good possibility for where it'll happen.
But it's still nice to get possible confirmation of appearances.
Why would the MCU or Marvel Studios care about the Oscars? They don't need them to boost sales and profile, which is all the Oscars are designed to do when you really look at it.

Marvel movies have been consistently financial successes, some of them have easily broken the billion dollar benchmark and they are realistic enough to know they'll probably never draw a big crowd in the movie arthouse community.
They make entertaining popcorn summer blockbuster movies and they're very good at it, they don't need support from any side.
The extra prestige of an Oscar might be nice for bragging rights, but that's about all it would be for them at this point.

Because some fit the "nerd" stereotype very well, and don't live in the real world at all and think things like that matter.

Or, some have a lot of emotional investment in childhood heroes like Superman and Batman - as silly as they acknowledge that that is - and were saddened by what they saw as a misinterpretation of those characters...

I figured Daredevil would appear. But as much as I'm looking forward to Charlie Cox as Matt again for more than a minute, I'm hopeful the show remains focused on Echo. I'm really excited to learn more about her.

I don't imagine it will be too Matt-heavy. The biggest concern is that he simply overshadows her completely in even a small appearance (see Luke/Din in Book Of Boba Fett).

But, while I expect he'll get more to do than in No Way Home, I don't think he'll take over Echo's show. I know if I was Marvel Studios, I'd be building the hype train one car at a time. Hawkeye and No Way Home are the opening salvo. Then we get slightly meatier appearances in stuff like Echo or She-Hulk, but still just guest appearances. And then comes the day when they drop a proper Daredevil trailer on us, like the big reunion. It's an event that it's fans have been hoping and pining for since Netflix canned the series. Lean into that. Build it up like they did the Avengers, if on a smaller scale.

Fair. But there's a difference between "saddened" and going completely mental on people online with opposing views. Shouting and swearing and getting so worked up about it. Making pathetic angry man-baby YouTube videos on their views. eg. how you still get Star Wars "fans" crying about Midichlorians. Something that was in a 23 year old movie for about 8 seconds. They're the people I mean. Not so much on here, but comments on things like YouTube & Instagram I see all the time and are so embarrassing to read.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for as well.

If we do eventually get a new Daredevil series or movie, I really hope they can get Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson to come back too, they were both great, and it just wouldn't be the same without them.

The Defenders shows often had two leads. The titular characters and another. In Daredevil it was Karen Page. In Jessica Jones it was Tish. In Punisher it was Dinah. The villain of each was pretty much a lead as well. So it's possible that Matt and Fisk might be "leads" in Echo. OTOH, the episode count was higher.

I‘m amazed this title wasn’t held by Jackson‘s LOTR/Hobbit movies somehow?
How many Orcs, Hobbits, Dwarves and Elves did they have on set?

The article I linked mentions part of the reason Guardians is getting it is because of how devoted they've been to using practical effects over cgi where possible.

I don't know exactly how the LOTR productions looked on that balance overall, but I do vaguely remember some BTS features talking about them making use of digital duplication to fill out all the crowd scenes so that they could make massive, epic vistas full of people without actually having to have that many people in the scene. Maybe that's why they didn't hold the record?

In case anyone not familiar with the comics version of Jane Foster is interested Marvel has posted a "You Don't Know Jane Foster?" video that covers her history from her introduction through her current status as Valkyrie in about 4 minutes.

And it looks like I was right about the Mighty Thor being the real-world name for her version of Thor. In the video the narrator refers to Odinson simply as Thor, and her as The Might Thor.

Honestly, her not stealing Thor's name would have made me a lot more receptive to Jane Fosters hero run in the comics. Thor is the name his parents gave him, but in the comics she literally stole his name and he was called Odinson, which was stupid. Its like if they started calling Sam Wilson "Steve" after he got the Captain America identity. I've been assuming that the movie wouldn't do something stupid like that, and the toy leaks seem to confirm that Thor keeps his name and she's Mighty Thor, but probably just also called Thor while powered up in the film.
