Why is that not surprising?
Yeah, Ohtani has another year or two on his deal. Like $3 or $4 million a year. Clearly one of the best deals in the history of MLB.
I would real soon. Don’t want him to start feeling disrespected by making so little compared to his peers.

AA just cut off negotiations at some point, which is hilarious to me. Freddie could have been a Brave for life if he wanted to be. Now he and his wife can go hock their crappy baseball clothes for wine moms in LA.
Castellanos isn't even the double machine he was a few years ago, plus that C- defense.
It feels fitting for the Phillies to have a bunch of oafs lumbering around their outfield.
No, I don't think he's going to be a bust. Though I don't see him leading Minnesota to a World Series.
He can opt out of his deal after each of the first two years. I'll be shocked if he's a Twin by opening day next year.
Pujols is a Cardinal again.
I would guess for the purposes of retiring as a Cardinal, but maybe they try him in the DH spot for a while?
His stint as a Card is the reason he'll be a first ballot HoFer.
Looks like he'll be the DH. Anyway, any team that wants me to retire for 2.5 mill, let me know!
