Most of a kids movie called Animal Crackers (my niece and nephew were over): cute fluff; they had to leave before the end.

Watched The Adam Project yesterday over on Netflix. Was a decent popcorn romp with plenty of Ryan Reynolds quips and jokes. I’d say 7.5/10 It was fun!

    "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

This just cements my opinion that the MCU is not nearly as good as people like to say that it is. It does a fair enough job of bringing in consequences but then just ignores them or quips their way through. Also, way too long.

My mom and I watch Disney/Pixar's Turning Red on Friday. It was fun, not sure if I'd put it up there with the best Pixar movies like the Toy Stories, Wall-E, or Up, but we both enjoyed it.

I watched Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, and I really enjoyed. Honestly, I think I actually liked it more than the Robert Wise version.
Stuff I liked better: Spielberg's camera work is a lot more dynamic.
The Puerto Ricans spoke quite a bit of Spanish.
They were actually out in the streets in New York (and New Jersey).

Blacklight with Liam Neeson playing Liam Neeson. Was ok, typical Liam Neeson movie really. Aiden Quinn already in it, and not seen him in anything for a while but would never have known it was him, looks totally different these days.

Man of Tai Chi, Chinese martial arts film and Keanu Reeves' only directorial work to date. He also plays the film's main villain. It's alright, but nothing special.

Then I watched Evil Toons, a cheap horror parody from the early 90s by legendary b-movie director Fred Olen Ray that uses its selling point, an animated character in a live-action film (selling itself as a kind of horror Who Framed Roger Rabbit) in exactly two scenes, and even then the animation sucked.
But it's cheesy, it's good for the usual Fred Olen Ray fun of bad dialogues, gratuitous nudity, and a mixture of veteran actors (in this case David Carradine, Arte Johnson and Dick Miller) with bad acting by the rest of the cast, namely the female protagonists who were mainly cast for their bra size and willingness to take those bras off.
There are two meta moments in the movie, one intentional, the other not so much. The intentional one is when Dick Miller's character watches the 1959 Dick Miller movie A Bucket of Blood on TV (even asking why "that guy" never got an Oscar). The other, unintentional one actually opens the movie when David Carradine's character hangs himself.
Best watched as a so-bad-it's-good flick with a bunch of friends and lots of riffing.

Recently watche vengeance of an assassin, a Thai movie. Short on story, but great action scenes, despite some dodgy cgi.

I also watched Bitcoin heist, a vietnamese ocean's eleven type movie. Kind of predictable, but looked slick and was well-made.

Plus I finally watched Rush Hour, was a very enjoyable flick. Wasn't expecting much, since I had only seen one other Brett Ratner film and the less said about his X-men film the better...

Saw that and agree on the film. For me though, I now tend to remember Aiden Quinn mostly from Elementary so recognized him straight off

The last film I've watched (in full) is Ghost Rider. Haven't seen it since the cinema back (in 07?). Side note is that it's probably the first film I saw Rebel Wilson in.

Next up i likely Ghost Rider:Spirit of Vengeance (Which I haven't seen before)

I watched the first Sonic The Hedgehog film for the first time as prep for the second. It was a lot of fun, and now I'm looking really forward to the second one.
