Isn't the Borg Queen a huge security risk? If she got out, she could start assimilating Earth in 2024 and completely change history.
Considering how badly temporal changes can affect the timeline, would she really risk that?
I mean, she tried it before in FC movie and failed. Perhaps with the inclusion of transtemporal awareness, she might end up just considering the idea of trying to assimilate Earth in 2024 as a big 'no no' and going back to the 24th century on her own.
She has a knack for trying to scare people into giving her what she wants (obviously - and mainly because she's on her own), but it didn't really work on Picard or Jurati, because Picard was a former drone and Jurati just took what she needed from the queen.
I wonder if the Borg Queen will assimilate some people in 2024 and start a new Collective and that is the Collective that comes through the anomaly in ep 1 asking for Picard's help?
That could be Jurati as the Borg Queen we saw in the first episode.
Given everything that's happened to date (how Rios described Agnes in her attitude towards cybernetics vs people) and now also with Jurati connecting with the Queen and 'impressing' her when she said 'I can almost feel it', I have an increasing suspicion that it will be Jurati who's the Queen... or Jurati may end up partly assimilated and managing to introduce a different kind of behavior into the Collective due to her skills or something to that effect?
After all, the Queen wasn't too pleased that Agnes stole the only bargaining chip from her... and this ability is exactly what the Queen may want to add to her Collective... and upon trying, it culd backfire and creating a new kind of Collective.
