Well, the show remains terrible.

Hilarious that there were actually TWO different scenes that provided explanations as to why "ageless" characters had obviously aged considerably since their last appearance. Maybe they could have punted Guinan an episode (since her cameo was clearly just crammed in there with no real relation to anything) just to spread those out a bit? Downright laughable.

Guinan's comments were possibly tongue in cheek and - given the likely one-off nature of her appearance - can easily remain ambiguous (as is befitting of her character).

was that the Enterprise-E
Dave Blass and Terry Matalas say no.

Also there were several Sovereign classes in that fleet.

Clearly you were not paying attention to the episode if you think that.

Also it is confirmed that she is going to show up again.

BTW, that Sovereign-class ship we saw as part of the fleet near the end of the episode...........was that the Enterprise-E perhaps, still in service after all of these years? And could one of the TNG crew members like Admiral Worf or Admiral Geordi be her captain by any chance?
That would be awesome. Also, nice to finally SEE a Sovreign class outside of the movies.

Wasn’t the Enterprise. If it was it would have been front and Center since it’s the boss ship.
Picard would have been on that ship as well

And now I understand why (allegedly) the powers that be didn't want the Sovereign class to show up in DS9.

Because this would have happened, people would keep asking if it was the Enterprise lol
Well they could have shown one on DS9. Just make it clear that it’s a different ship. Wouldn’t have been hard.

that makes no sense. Picard was on the most up to date state of the art ship, the Stargazer, which was holding station at the anomaly. The rest of the fleet was called in after identifying a Borg incursion.

Why would Picard have transferred his flag (not to mention a ship shown to be very easy for Borg to infiltrate in the past) to an aging older ship in the middle of a crisis?

I dug it. A tad disjointed duu to several factors: playing the episode out of chronological order, JLP's flashbacks, and the crew having scattered. But it fits with a season based on time travel.

Great to see Guinan & Q. Thought the character decisions for Raffi, Rios, & JLP all made sense. Ditto Seven, Soshi, & Jurati. Liked Elnor the cadet and the Laris/Oicard stuff. And the fact that Picard chokes it.

I’m sure the Enterprise would been refitted to the most modern specs as well.
Speaking of which, Picard’s lines were very confusing when he was on that ship. He says first that that this isn’t the stargazer he served on but later says that the older the refits look, the younger he feels. So which is it? :)

the episode made a point that the Stargazer was the ship with the borg technology. It was kind of a critical point to the whole plot of the Borg takeover.

And he was just making commentary about aging and his own renewal. I don't think that was meant to be taken literally though I can already see 500 threads being made about it in the future, while people count the windows on decks 4 through 9. Its seems to me like this is not the same ship. Doesn't even have the same registry, though it is close enough, on purpose.

Voyager also was enhanced with Borg tech.
My point is that the flagship would be as up to date as any other new ship.
Enterprise was probably doing something important. Like transporting ambassadors from one planet to another.

Doesn't care.

Which is pretty much what I expected based upon the reaction for those who did not enjoy the season. So, deLancie was basically the production team promising this is real Trek.

Or "real" My little Pony Friendship is Magic.
