He'll almost certainly have full roster control with the Raiders, like he did with the Broncos, and I doubt many other teams were willing to give that to him after the tire fire that was McDaniels' reign in Denver.

Also, after he pantsed the Colts, he was pretty much considered persona non grata for interviews around the league. Now that Belichick has confirmed he plans to continue with the Patriots for a good long time, McDaniels probably figured he should take the first opportunity he got which offered him the level of control he wanted.
 
I’ll be surprised if KC defensive coordinator Steve Spagnulo survives the off season.
 
That was a brutal hit on Deebo Samuel. Clean hit, but I wouldn’t have wanted to be on the wrong end of it.

Hope he’s okay.
 
Mahomes was inside the 10 in the last minute and then he started running around. I'll never understand why they didn't try and punch it in with McKinnon or the full back or something.

Mahomes and Reid spent the 2nd half enveloped in a massive brain fog. The play calling was brutally bad. One screen, no reverses, no keeping in a back or TE when the Bengals pass rush picked up.

I’m glad the Bengals won, but damn, I think most people here could’ve done a better job calling plays for the Chiefs in the 2nd half.
 
Congrats to the Bengals for putting the brakes on the Mahomes hype train. Won’t have to listen to announcers go ga ga over fake “no look” passes.

Happy for the Rams and their fans. Time for you guys to join the title parade that runs through The City of Champions. Would love to have been around those obnoxious as hell Niner fans as their season ended after leading in the 4th quarter. Bet that stung.

A Super Bowl in your home stadium, now how sweet is that? :beer:
