This thing has been bumbling around my head for a few weeks, and now I'm almost done with the basic shapes of the ship. Textures are placeholders, and the deflector bits haven't been fitted into the housing yet

Yes. I already like it. But the first image confuses me. Is it upside down or did the nacelle configuration change?

The first image is from below the port side, you can see the underside of the saucer with the blue glow on it on the very left

That, is one beautiful shape... Please keep up this design...the shape is excellent.

Getting started on the nacelles, the middle line in them is temporary, will be smooth/flat in final version

Interesting. Could be Dr. Crusher's ship after Picard gets her Daedulus blown up. Or, it could be her ship in "Picard," if she isn't an Admiral by then, which would be ironic.

The nose is a bit on the Seaquest DSV side.

I actually did try to take some inspiration from the eyemorg lines, and the nacelle position on the body from the olympic class. Never heard of the seaquest DSV but looking at it I definitely see the resemblence with the nose

I've had the time to make some progress recently, I hope y'all enjoy. x

Ignore the removed geometry on the sides of the aft hull, but I wasn't feeling the nacelles so I might have started an alternative set

I made a little bit of progress on detailing a while ago, trying to get the energy to keep on it

It still looks aquatic to me, which is not a bad thing, I like stuff that's a little different.
