Doggies, Doggos and Doggeroos!

Oh, a Dobie ! What a sweetie, and favorite breed of mine - such an expressive face :luvlove:

Since we're already in German dog territory today, how about another... ?

I had to find the original vid for that one.

Me and K.J. a few years back. The image quality isn't the best but then I never expected such a spontaneous snapshot to become so important down the road.

Hey, dad ! Dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad... :ack:

It's the Energizer Beagle ! And you just know the Rottie is thinking "I'll play along, little one, but you know I can eat you in one bite..." :shifty:

I lost my dear, sweet Elvis - a German Shepherd & Basenji mix - almost three years ago, and I can still hear him howling at the TV like this, but he did it for any animal that appeared !

Horse, pig, cat, lion, giraffe - didn't matter ! He'd sing the song of his people - Baruuuuuuuuuu ! :luvlove:

I already posted the video of Tucker howling to the M*A*S*H theme, didn't I? It's really the only time he howls, but he does almost every time it's on, which is a lot since it's one of our favorite shows and we turn it on twice a day. He'll even come running from another room when he hears it.
It's actually coming on right now as I'm typing and I can hear him howling back in my mom's room.

I've never seen it, JD, but I'd love to ! M*A*S*H is a national treasure, and who can resist a howl ? ;)

Had kind of cut moment today, but I didn't get a chance to take a picture. My mom took Tucker to the vet, and a little while after they left I found Gracie laying in the kitchen waiting for them.
When I told my mom, she said Gracie will also there and wait for me when I go out on my bike rides. The kitchen is in the front of the house, so she probably goes there to watch me leave through the front window. There have been a few times I've looked back on my way out, and have seen her watching me through the window.
If anyone is concerned, Tucker's vet visit wasn't do to anything to serious, he just has a leg that he limps on and my mom wanted to get it looked at. He was hit by a car before we got him, and he's always had trouble with that leg, he even had the femoral head removed a while back. That was supposed to help with the pain, but he still limps some.

Awww - what an absolute sweetheart, and so handsome !

But I hope you have another checkup just to make sure he's still not in pain - the continued limping may be a sign of that, unfortunately... :(

Hugs to both Tucker and Gracie !
