Then you need some kind of program to do a video desktop. I have a desktop enhancement software bundle called "Object Desktop" with a program called "Deskscapes 11" allowing you to do video desktops. There are other methods to do it as well:

I don't care how much it looked like the Akira, the NX Enterprise is a damn fine looking ship.
Back in the day, I downloaded a mod for Bridge Commander that let you fly the NX, and it was a lot of fun. I remember when the series came out and people were like "it looks like a submarine," as if that was a problem. I mean, ENT was set only a 150 years in the future, and I'd imagine our ships would look submarine-ish at that point.Yeah, she's a beauty.![]()
