I only scanned briefly through the fanfilmfactor page but it seemed to hit the usual marks, 'huge success', some tenuous name dropping and, of course, what was filmed was 'top quality'. Lane must just copy and paste this crap now after so many years of the same old same old, surely?
I used to say that I would wait to see the film and judge it accordingly. I'm now at the point where I'm not sure if I give enough of a shit to do even that. 
I'm sure he has macros to spin that same old boilerplate praising.
I don't really understand this, to be honest.

I'm fully aware that what's happening now doesn't necessarily mean that the project is moving one step closer to completion. I'm contributing no resources, so if it goes south yet again it's not my problem.

Not the production. Just all the insane bullshit surrounding it and plaguing it since the beginning. Might be one in the same now. I thought it was fairly self-explanatory, actually.

We are coming up on the fifth anniversary of the court case being settled, and the film is still not released. And every time they film something, there seems to be a problem with the footage. It is like the script a few years ago which was complete, then not complete, then being rewritten, etc. It just seems to take them forever to do anything.
Hell, I want the production to stop. The only way to make Alec get a real job is the utter failure of his money-stealing boondoggle.
Ironically, that's the one thing that this thread and the various anti-axanar groups agree with Peters on but for vastly different reasons though...
But grandstanding is all Axanar has... cause it sure doesn't have a fucking film.
So do we have an Over/Under Pool going yet as to how many weeks (or even a month or two) before this newly attached director does something to piss of Alec Peters to the point he finally quits/is "fired" - and Alec starts claiming: "He did NOTHING...I did EVERYTHING..."; yet?
If they actually make and release a film, then there's no further reason to ask for donations. This has always been a con job.
He's forever producing 'footage' but nary a completed project.
It seems this shoot was a success, which I think means the footage is usable at least:
