Except, Alvin And Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked! Some lines need to be drawn.

I can’t wait for Marlena to kick ass like in the OG show.

It works even better with He-Man since the whole mythos is about taking the power, from the OG toys to the toons.

Just saw the latest trailer for part two on Netflix.
It seems super spoilers, but no one can complain anymore that the show is not about He-Man.

Just finished Part 2. It thoroughly knocked my socks off. Great job, Kevin. Great Job.

    That very last scene, though...
    Hordak!

    Which means the sequel!

    It also (hopefully) means She-Ra.

Noelle Stevenson praised Revelation and said she was open for a possible crossover.

Yeah, really good. Though I noticed the animation getting a bit choppy in these fast-paced action scenes, but that's a small price to pay.
And killing him off quickly was probably his way of stopping himself from writing more fisting puns.

Turns out the trailer for the second half did not show it all. Really showed barely what happens in the first episode of the second half.
And that cliffhanger? Man, I sure hope Netflix greenlights another season now.

one can only hope. Adora deserves some closure on her finding out about her origin.
It will be difficult to reconcile the two stories, though, let alone the artstyle and tone of the individual shows.
Maybe, they can meet in the middle somewhere?

Obviously, they wouldn't be using the art style from the She-Ra show and I doubt the She-Ra appearing in Kevin Smith's MOTU would be the She-Ra from that exact continuity (like you said, difficult, if not impossible to reconcile), but they could pull off something relatively close to it, with the same voice cast.

She-Ra has actually been split from the Masters of the Universe brand in terms of copyrights. In order for her to appear in season 2, the holders of the She-Ra rights would have to agree to it.

But then, Blade appeared in this, and he's a movie character Mattel doesn't have the rights to.

The rights to MotU are a very complicated matter.

So many spoiler tags I can't click on yet...

The real honour and power of Greyskull are the friends we met along the way.

I definitely feel like the second half was better written and paced than the first half. :) I need to make time to think a bit more and maybe watch the full series in its entirety to get a final opinion. But I have to say it's the better of the two, IMO, and although I still have some minor nitpicks I kind of wish the first half felt less rushed. It would be nice to watch the series as a complete whole and see how I feel overall.

The "second half" was definitely more intense and faster paced. I liked the "first half", but loved the "second half".

Really a beautiful continuation, with hopefully more to come.

Ol' Skeletor seemed to know something about who was in charge at the end before we did. Is there anything there I should have recognized before the last second?

Did he? to me he seemed just as surprised about what happened as us.
He called Motherboard a silly idol or something to that effect.
    Up until the final reveal.

But once it morphed(?) into the female statue-like figure, Skeletor said "it can't be....it's impossible!", in such a way like he recognized it somehow, but before we saw the last reveal. Maybe just reacting to the thing changing into a moving statue, but IDK, it felt more significant than that.

I wouldn't be surprised, if they do another season, that we see a flashback to when he worked for the "other guy" and we see something like this.

"We are Skele-Borg, resistance is futile"

Btw, during Evil-Lyn‘s flashback scene, when Skeletor showed up to her rescue, he was wearing an older outfit with a Horde symbol on the belt.
Found that to be a nice touch of lore/continuity.

Two episodes in. I was expecting the "barbarian" He-Man from the early comics, but instead we got Hulk He-Man. Pretty derivative, and I could've done without all the ultraviolence and graphic death. (Either Skeletor just permanently murdered hundreds of civilians, or the effect is reversible and He-Man killed a bunch of innocent people. I don't like either of those options.)

I did like the talk about how what makes Adam special is that he chooses to cede the ultimate power, to use it only selflessly. And the reunion with Randor was pretty good. I regret that Teela still hasn't gotten her answers about her mother after it's too late for a reunion, although I guess there could still be a supernatural way for them to have a heart-to-heart.

And I kinda liked the way they worked Adam's opening narration in as he stood up to Skeletor. I think it's cheap to rely too much on reference and familiarity to get a rise out of an audience, but this was more than just the reference for its own sake, because they were able to make the words really mean something in the context of the scene. The later callback to the "fabulous secret powers" line was somewhat clumsier.

Kevin Smith Hopes that ‘Masters of the Universe: Revelation’ Part 2 Sticks the Landing
Sounds like no She-Ra. Also, Smith sounds unsure about their renewal prospects.
