Anyway, the article claims for some reason that TOS, VOY and ENT have already left the service. I just checked and they are still there, at least for me. Well probably see tomorrow if Discovery actually leaves.
I can only assume that Paramount are gonna buy out their contracts with Amazon Prime also, meaning Picard S2 and Lower Decks S3 are gonna appear on International P+.
It's the opposite of what happened. According to Deadline, they paid a large sum of money to Netflix to buy out their "in perpetuity" contract with them. The same contract that paid for the entire first season of Disco (meaning they were in the green before it even premiered on CBS All Access back in 2017), so it can't have been cheap. This reeks of CBS holding out to the last minute for more money from someone.
Yep, letting it go to the last minute makes it feel like they were playing chicken with Netflix and hoping they'd blink as it got closer to the premiere date. This reeks of CBS holding out to the last minute for more money from someone.

I want to buy the new service. I keep getting ads for a free trial of Paramount+ all the time. Let me buy the new service and watch it, please. What a load of arse.
Guess I won't be seeing season 4 then. I don't like being bullied into buying more and more streaming services.
That is true..and I do not see people paying for Netflix migrating in mass to Paramount+ either.Lol if they think anyone is gonna pay for a series that aired 2 months ago in the US.
