S4 coming Nov 18!

The trick is to write children's shows on two levels. If Prodigy can do that, they're golden.

Disney and Pixar do it all the time.

I remember watching Disney's Aladdin. Disney didn't write dialogue for the Genie so much as they put Robin Williams in front of a microphone and animated whatever came out of his mouth! :guffaw::guffaw:

Robin Williams at full throttle (R.I.P. :( ):

Anyone outside the US and Canada heard anything about Netflix, yet? Normally we're 24 hours behind but no season 4 trailer and no mention of the season starting on the 19th.

I think we're fucked.

And that for me (unlike the vast majority of everyone else who loved the movie specifically for Williams) really yanked me out of the film every time he was on screen. I never, ever believed this was a character versus Robin just being Robin. That's not normally what we call good writing or acting. But the audience ate it up. So what do I know.

Now I found his performances very effective in Good Morning Vietnam, and loved him in things like Awakenings, Dead Poets Society, What Dream May Come, and Good Will Hunting.

I'm sure it'll be fine; Netflix Australia confirmed a couple of years ago that it held the rights to Discovery for the lifetime of the series.

It was already confirmed when the air date was announced at Star Trek Day that Netflix still retains the international rights and it will air 24 hours after. Cool your jets.

Is this going to be related to that, or did whoever title it that forgot about that episode?
Since the title is extremely generic and the season is about a gravitational anomaly, my guess would be this is most likely unrelated or the entire season is actually based on Delphic Season/Sphere Builders lore. But probably it's just a coincidence.

Wait, they are reusing an episode title from a season 3 Enterprise episode?

Is this going to be related to that, or did whoever title it that forgot about that episode?
It is odd indeed, but there have been similar titles before.. First Contact comes to mind… or The Muse (DS9) and Muse (VOY)… Suppose we’ll have an ENT Anomaly and a DSC Anomaly..!

Episode 401: “Kobayashi Maru”
This title fits dealing with The Fandom Menace, when it comes to this series. ;)

But, on a more serious note, it's probably a test of Burnham's character as a Captain.

Episode 402: “Anomaly”
I guess this is where we find out what Discovery is dealing with.

Episode 403: “Choose to Live"
Ni'Var and/or Gabrielle Burnham probably figure heavily into this one.

Episode 404: “All Is Possible”
I'm guessing this will be the episode that kicks us into the main body of the season.

All they need to do is add "The" to the title to make it easier to distinguish. And maybe the episode titles will change - I think at least three episode titles changed last season at the last minute.

Okay fair enough. Still no trailer up on the Netflix Disco page, let alone an air date. We were all sure season 2 of Short Treks would be on Netflix too.

The more I think about it, the less I like the title "Anomaly". I think you could give half the episodes from TNG Season 6 to the end of VOY that title. Even if it fits the episode, "Anomaly" is about as Rick as you can get.
