Fan Production Submissions (2)

Hello.
I'm the writer/editor of the audio fan series Chronicle, set in the year 2410 CE. Season One is underway with eighteen episodes in total, the season finale coming in May 2020. If there is enough interest, will do a second season (and the cast really is interested in doing it :) )
Four young officers are assigned to the newest and fastest ship in Starfleet, set to explore the uncharted Perseus Arm of the Galaxy. But these four friends find themselves at the eye of a storm. A series of mysteries confront them and ultimately threaten not only their lives but the very soul of the United Federation of Planets. Because yesterday is waiting.

My apologies--I posted this video yesterday (in its own thread) but I guess I should have posted it here. So I am doing so now (hope you all don't mind the unintentional double-dipping!)

This is a film (actually more like Star Trek inspired comedy sketch) I wrote and directed--thanks to some good ol' fashion pandemic-induced boredom which inspired me to pull my moptop wig out of mothballs.

The video's titled: "Becoming Chekov"

The premise is: it's a mockumentary-style interview with everybody's favorite na-wee-gator as he discusses the work he puts into "becoming Chekov" including his galaxy-sized secret.

I chose to make a film about Chekov, because back in the day I played Chekov on Star Trek: New Voyages (in the episodes with Walter Koenig, George Takei, and Denise Crosby) -- hence my avatar photo (that's me).

Hope you all enjoy it!

Hey all! Got a new "TREK Sketches" (Star Trek inspired sketch comedy) video!

It's titled: "Klingon Vacation"

The premise is: a Karen and her husband are vacationing on Qo'nos and both having a wildly different experience on the brutal Klingon Homeworld.

Hope you all enjoy it!

I don't know how to post links to YouTube. But if moderator will indulge me and consider two titles:

Squadron. The Norway class sees action during the Dominion War.

The Gorn Imperative. "Arena" retold from the Gorn point of view.

Ouff, this was painful to watch...

I didn't make it..........
It's all sorts of bad. I feel for these guys who put so much effort into making something like this, who appear to have no aptitude for filmmaking at all. Technical faults aside, the pacing is a disaster, and the choice to do Gorn voices that sound like what we got through the translator in "Arena" make just following the dialog a chore.

Squadron was quite good. They impressed me with what they did. 2nd half was rushed and a bit Scooby Doo'ed but will be watching them.

Regarding the Squadron scene at Starfleet Command.....

Looks like a model of the Protector starship from Galaxy Quest.

That was cute. Thanks, Andy.

In celebration of the season 2 premiere of Lower Decks, I've got a new "TREK Sketches" (Star Trek inspired sketch comedy) video!

It's titled: "Starfleet Repair"

The premise is: this is the (less than elite) Starfleet Repair team tasked with repairing the Enterprise-E after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis; while trying to avoid being replaced with an all synthetic "Synth" android workforce (as seen in Star Trek: Picard).

Hope you all enjoy it!
