It had some good art from Jim Lee
Jim Lee. Is he the artist who did that off the wall comic book called "All Star Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder"? That book had some of the best art I'd ever seen but the story... I had trouble figuring it out. Sequences of time was all over the place, it seemed the story editor took a vacation while the artist and the writer forgot about what occurred in several previous installments.

Yes, he did the art. Frank Miller wrote the story, and this was well into his whackjob phase (unless he's still in it?) and no one willing to reel him in.

I always wanted a lego inspired Zodiac Killer figure lol. Also we find out that Andy Serkis's Alfred will have a beard.

Interesting. Obviously the Lego sculpt will flatten the mask but I will be curious to see the Riddler more. The "Wayne Terminus" is always very interesting.

Idk. From what I am seeing thus far, I think the Bruce Timm upcoming HBOMax animated series "The Caped Crusader" appears to be more promising than The Batman.

I really wanna see another Lego Batman movie.

I don't think you will. I remember earlier in the summer there were a bunch of articles about there being major issues with a sequel (LM2 & Ninjago box office failures, and I think some rights issues as wel) so it was abandoned.

I loved it up until the climax where it just turned into exploding Lego IP fest.

So apparently there was another screening of the movie. Now it's almost 3 hours. Almost could mean 2 hours 45 minutes. It's also said to be a full blown film noir.

I don't mind that at all. the noir quality of the original animated series was one of the things I liked most about it.

It's not out for another 6 months, that sounds like a rough cut, not final runtime. Testing what works and doesn't before next stage of edits.

Sounds fantastic. Hopefully that's close to the final runtime. I especially love reading about the film noir aspect.
