Is this a discussion topic or a couple of Wiki articles?
It's the culmination of work that began in the First and last names of minor characters thread five years ago. It's meant to be a guide for authors and fans showing which canon characters have already been given first names or last names in the novels in order to minimize potential future contradictions and to provide some interesting trivia as well. Feel free to discuss it.

Edit: I've added this to the introductory paragraph to explain what the purpose of the list is.

We have several threads that are purely for sharing reference material like this. The threads allow both discussion and sharing of information.

I do mean to organise them properly into a single spot with all the links and descriptions, but time is never my friend in these endeavours :)

Just realized that none of the links work anymore because http:// got changed to https:// on Memory Alpha at some point in time. I guess I have a lot of work to do.
