Robots and computers would still be trying to interpret human rules. I could see a computer going mad and destroying humanity trying to figure out what is a catch in the NFL.

We lost a heartbreaker last night! I hope and pray we can sneak into the playoffs like in 2007! Bryce Harper has been putting insane numbers! I want him to be the MVP! The man gets a bad rap, but he is a good person!

Usually by now I am completely checked out of baseball but the Mariners are actually in the running to get in to the post season. Can't believe it.

I'd prefer if Seattle and Toronto would overtake NY and BOS for the AL WC spots.

And despite hating the Cards, they've made a hell of a run to get the WC2 locked up, currently at 17 straight wins. Surprising since all they did was pick up retreads JA Happ and Jon Lester, and maybe got one or two pitchers back off the IL.

Yep, as difficult as it is...props to the Cards.

    The Reds tanked.

If the eRds tanked, then what did the Padres do? Once upon a time they were in 2nd place behind the Giants. Now 25 games back. Did they "Cub"?

Basically their entire offense cratered after July, I don't think anyone in the starting lineup has an OPS above .800 in the second half of the season. I imagine this collapse is going to cost Jayce Tingler his job.

They had a lot of injuries tho, didn't they? Especially to SP IIRC.

Tatis alone was on the IL at 3 times.

Overexcited? A coworker of mine did that, though he was quite drunk.

...and he's not even the first pitcher this year to break their pitching hand due to punching something. Huascar Ynoa did the same thing back in May, although that one was a frustration punch.

Blue Jays shot themselves in the foot by losing two of three to a Yankees team they handled in a sweep a week ago. They now need help from Tampa (who are already clinched in the top seed), Washington (a tire fire), the Angels (playing out the string) & Baltimore (the worst team in the league that they have had issues with all season)

There has always been a long tradition of....Spoilers and teams coming on strong at the end. Ain't baseball just a be-atch? ;)
