That was more an ambiguous ending than a certain-doom ending. I just saw it as the next problem to solve, the same as episode 1 ended with Fury reviving Carter to deal with a new problem. There's always a next crisis.

    Marvel doesn’t have Crises. That’s DC. :)

I liked how they revealed Peter's constant humour was a way to cope with losing so many people...but then they had Kurt and Scott acting like complete clowns with every line they spoke and it was a bit much. Didn't really like the glib Thanos ending either, felt like they've done the bleak ending thing enough already.

I highly suspect we'll get a follow-up or two in the second season with some of these stories. And even more if Chadwick Boseman hadn't died.

Lang was playing Deadpool’s part I think. That’s why it didn’t work as well

The next one's gotta be more upbeat, right? I mean, imploding the universe and the zombie apocalypse... you really can't get much darker than that. Seriously.

To each their own, I loved Headjar Scott! I was serious when I said in my review that I would love to watch a whole series focused on him!

Full disclosure: I am a massive Futurama fan.

But DC's Crises are capitalized. I just said "crisis." ;)

Not of fan of talking disembodied heads. How can they talk without lungs? For that matter, without the chest cavity and diaphragm and whatnot, the timbre of the voice would be very different.

At least there should've been some kind of box underneath Scott's head large enough to contain a credible life-support and respiratory system.

Next episode Tony Starks, I love you 3000 daughter shoots him and joins forces with Thanos to destroy the Avengers. The snap is never reversed. The final scene is a wrap around shot seeing all the dead Avengers except for a weak and dying Captain America trying to grab at Thanos sort of like Ironhide going after Megatron in the Transformers movie. Thanos says something like " looks like I am going to have to go for the head" and stomps on Caps head finally killing him. The end.

I think this one would've been more interesting if they played it straight without all the yuks.

I can’t help but think those were an attempt to keep things from getting too dark and depressing.

To each their own. The humor was what made it palatable for me. Without it, I think it would've been way too grim.

Yeah I definitely had something in my eye. I'm not sure when this was recorded, but presumably he would have likely known he didn't have long left? So many feels! :(

Other than that I thought it was great, odd they couldn't get Tom to do Spidey seeing as he was so prominent but I guess scheduling?

I hear ya'll, it felt on first viewing to me like it was holding itself back from fully committing. Would it be too much, maybe, but if you can't go all in on a What If? story when can you? Though I guess for the MCU a zombie story itself was bold.

So I'm confused by this ending. At the beginning of the episode, several zombies died randomly from what sure as hell looked like the Snap. Yet Thanos doesn't have all the stones yet?

Congratulations on overthinking a fun concept...especially in a episode with zombies.

You're going to have to refresh my memory: What zombies died randomly? I don't remember any of that.

I think those zombies were eaten by the flying ants.
