Please don't put words in my mouth and misinterpret what I said. I never suggested RT "lacked credibility". We were talking about the show's popularity with the fans, and that the RT audience score is a decent barometer of that. In term of professional critique, the Emmys are more credible.
I adore The Last Jedi and appreciate it's 90% RT critics score, but I would never call it a "popular" film, the audience score reflects that.
Ok, well done Discovery for getting the same nominations as Voyager and Enterprise.
Sorry? I watch with plenty of objectivity, you've no idea if I do or don't. I hate the modern trend of sh*tting on everything and like to see the best in everything. That said, I just can't agree Discovery is a well made show. Season 2 started strongly, but fell off a cliff. Season 3 took until the second episode to have me rolling my eyes, around the time a critically injured Stamets was put in charge of saving the ship for some reason. I can't stand the characters, the visuals are messy and the writing is appalling. The premise of season 3 is at least interesting, this "Burn" sounds intriguing, I'll keep watching and looking forward to seeing where it goes, but yeah.
