Great cover art. Spot is out of the proverbial bag indeed!
Spot belonged to Data.
Cool, I'd been hoping for a Rios novel. Now we just need a Seven novel.
That would be good to see what she's been up to before Picard.

The problem is that the page number will be picked up by Goodreads and made the page number. The Librarians have no idea how to handle page numbers. They make the eBook page numbers the same as whatever very wrong page number the publishers put up. I've tried to ask for corrections, but they insist that because the publisher posted it, it's correct.
Not a lot to do about the placeholder numbers at the start — I expect I was still writing when the catalog page was created — but it does look like they updated it on Amazon, at least.
I'd prefer a new thread for the review, so this one can stay spoiler free for people who haven't read the book yet.@trampledamage
Could you add a poll and 'Review-Thread' please? Then we don't have to open a new one.
The book has achieved corporeal form!

So would I, as I try not to enter review threads if I can avoid it.I'd prefer a new thread for the review, so this one can stay spoiler free for people who haven't read the book yet.
We actually got the little guide they did to the La Sirena early to make sure nothing in it conflicted too much with the book — but most of the schematics inside were early ones from before when they actually designed the sets.
Okay, I take that under advisement for when I actually get around to reading the book! Thank you!And yep, that's the smaller of the Eaglemoss models. We actually got the little guide they did to the La Sirena early to make sure nothing in it conflicted too much with the book — but most of the schematics inside were early ones from before when they actually designed the sets.
I seem to remember you talked about this before, so if it's okay to ask: the set plans/deck plans you got to work with, are they the ones that have since gotten into circulation? I.e. with the stairs to sickbay missing and a few other things in the not-quite-final-stages of design? Or are there even more up-to-date or even more elaborate plans that we haven't seen yet?
What I did was I took the plans in circulation you mention, I resized them relative to one another to account for scale so the deck accesses would match up, and then modified for what I saw on screen. I also asked about some specific things and got answers. So it’s as close as I could get. I do account for the stairs, for example.

I was at Barnes and Noble in Lynnwood WA, yesterday and they had four or five copies out on the shelves in the sci-fi section of 'New Releases'. I took a photo on my phone, but I don't know how to upload it.
P.S. I would of bought it, but I was surprised to see it and I didn't have my birthday gift card with me. I'll get it this weekend.
