I have a feeling that somebody else (The demon?) will be controlling the other suit.

Like, the demon is possessing Ikki? That makes it sound like a cross of Den-O and W.

The collectible item being stamps also ties into the villains motives. They make contracts with humans like in Den-O.

When you say "stamps," what do you mean? You mean like an ink stamp? When I hear "collectible" and "stamp" in the same sentence, I think of postage stamps, but that seems unlikely here.

Could be, we'll find out soon enough.

I'm thinking Old Fashioned "Hand Ink Stamps" since in Asian Cultures; "Ink Stamps" are quite common, especially as a equivalent to official signatures in the Western world.

I myself have one for my Chinese name, my parents also have their own as well.

We got our first look at Decade/Megalodon form. Vice's forehead also changes to reflect the form Revi has.

Sorry I meant the kind you use to press an impression. Not the mailing an envelope kind

Shirakura took part in casual gathering where Japanese people discussed how to keep Kamen Rider's cool(weather wise)

Essentially they had a brainstorming session for trying to figure out how to keep the suit actors cooler. According to the Olympics, it's feels like a sauna in Japan right now. It's hard enough wearing those heavy costumes in average weather...

Since Kamen Rider Saber is ending soon, how does everybody feel about it so far?

It's okay, but not great. It's rather cluttered with characters and subplots, and it tends to get excessively dark and angsty and melodramatic. In principle, I liked the book theme, being a novelist myself, but the whole premise of the world being a construct of the book and so forth was kind of weird. It also had a problem with major characters like Sophia and Tassel/Victor inexplicably disappearing from the story for months, and I wonder whether those absences were pandemic-related or just the result of the writers having too many characters to juggle.

It's oddly like a Sentai series in a lot of ways -- it centers on a team of 5-plus color-coded members working for a single organization -- yet it annoyingly didn't follow suit in giving the core team a female member, retreating from Zero-One's precedent of finally having a female Rider as a full regular. We finally got one in a supporting role later, but though Reika is undeniably a badass warrior, she's kind of problematical in her subservient, almost incestuous devotion to her elder brother.

One frustrating thing has been how unclear it is about the actual Kamen Rider names of the characters. They aren't spoken in most of the Swordsmen's otherwise incredibly garrulous henshin announcements, with Sophia generally being the only one who addressed the Swordsmen by their Rider names, so it was hard to keep track of who was called what without consulting the wiki.

My favorite part is the music, which is by one of my favorite Toei composers, Kousuke Yamashita, who also did Kamen Rider Gaim as well as Magiranger, Gokaiger, Ninninger, and Kyuranger. Touma's henshin theme -- or whatever, the stirring, "knightly" music that usually plays when he goes into action or has a big epiphany -- is one of my favorite pieces of toku music ever.

I would lean towards too many characters to juggle that some had to disappear for handful of episodes

We do know Revice won't have that high of a bar to reach >_>

Pro's and cons of Mei our supporting actress characterfor the series.

Pro. She wasn't the holy grail/sought after item for plot. We've gotten way too many of those like Mai from "Gaim" and Izu from Zero-One who become very important to the series. A little deviation once in awhile isn't a bad thing

Con- She really didn't do much. She mostly did silly antics which got annoying and stayed behind the others riders and again did silly antics

It seems like another Sentai-influenced premise, since it has a dinosaur theme.

I don't think Izu was a "holy grail" character -- she was more the Jeeves to Aruto's Wooster. She earned her importance, not by being a plot-driving MacGuffin, but just by being a terrific character. So it came about organically.

I guess the sought-after plot driver here was Luna, and her role was relatively minor overall. And it feels a little awkward to suddenly age her up to an adult in the last two and a half episodes, because we're suddenly being asked to identify with a new actress.

Yeah... Mei played a significant supporting role early on, but she did kind of get lost in the clutter. Although I get the feeling she's going to play a major part in the finale this week, given what was set up for her in the penultimate episode.

I like it aesthetically, and I love the book/sword transformation devices, but the story is dire. Saber himself is fine, I like Blades ok, and I was (surprisingly) won over by Tassel, but most of the side characters are either forgettable or horrendous. Ren is one of the worst Riders I've seen when it comes to being a useless idiot, and Mei is the worst side character in any Rider I've ever seen. She's worse then Akiko from Kamen Rider W, and I didn't think that was possible. She acts more like a little girl then Luna ever did, its like she's from a pre-school type kids show and is playing her role fto entertain literal 3 year olds. Its not really the actress's fault I guess, but the character is written horribly and is completely pointless to the plot or the other characters.

The villains are also all terrible, and their plans are either muddy or just lame. Master Logos is the worst primary (or semi-primary, I guess) villain in any Rider show I've seen. He's over the top, but not in a fun way. Dan Kuroto in Ex-AID was crazy but still fun and threatening. Logos is just annoying and generically over powered (until he's not). The other guy is slightly better because he's not as annoying, but I don't even remember his name, so that's not a good thing.

Overall I generally find the show annoying and boring, with occasional interesting moments (more in the first half of the series). I don't know if its my most disliked Kamen Rider show, but its probably a close second. Its definitely not a show I'll ever rewatch after its over.
