DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Something to think about. Keatons Batman has been using that style of Batmobile for over 30 years

Or maybe it's just a nonfunctioning set piece in the Batcave set. Lots of Batcave depictions in the comics show him keeping a bunch of older Batmobiles around. He is a billionaire, after all, so of course he collects custom cars so he can store them in his man cave.

I wonder if maybe they would borrow a fan's car for the Batmobile? There's been a number of reproductions made over the years and it would give a thrill to a fan and may be cheaper than fabricating a new one.

For a blockbuster movie? I'm sure they plan to knock seven shades of shit out of it. This isn't Stargate: Origins, done on a fan film budget.

I didn't know how much use it is actually going to get but now that I think about it in this day and age it would just probably be CG if it's just basically background. Just musing...

Miller already outshines anyone who ever portrayed the Flash in live action, and its so exciting that he will have his own couple of hours to continue to excel in the role.
There have been only 3, and outshines? I dunno about that.
John Wesley Schipp is the original, and I give him the same respect I do TOS when it comes to Trek (and really has made his older characters proof of why he was great as the Flash). Grant Gustin really gives a believable performance on the ernestness of Barry and wanting to be a hero.

i will give Miller credit for really trying to bridge fandom, and putting out the Multiverse idea years before his Crisis appearnce (which really got me excited when he appeared, and added my respect to him). And i will also say that the Film Universe Justice league definitely needed a type of character that Miller brought, to be a stark personality contrast to the others. I think he could have done a similar type with Blue Beetle or some other character.

My issues with the Film UNiverse characters definitely stem from writing and directing -- no problem per se with the actors cast.

You mean BAT-man cave!

Depends on the filmmaker. There are some directors who pride themselves on doing things practically as much as possible. In recent interviews about The Suicide Squad, for instance, James Gunn has been touting how much the film relies on practical effects instead of digital.

He's a hoarder.

Will he? Its beginning to look like the ultimate teamup movie instead of a Flash movie.

Warner already owns "copies" of all the cinematic batmobiles. They had them all displayed in recent years.

At first, I thought it would be slightly bigger cameo's. Barry stumbling through timelines/universes/whatnot.
But for them to invest quite a lot of time to build that entire Batcave set.... That seems unlikely for a slightly bigger cameo. And they're introducing Supergirl.....

I hope they're careful and don't make the mistake of the Whedon-cut, where they suddenly have three new heroes to play with and not enough screen time.
Say what you want about The Snyder Cut (I love that movie to death btw), atleast we got a lot more insight and backstory for the new heroes.

If they are going to do some kind of version of Flashpoint, then it is possible that most of the movie will take place in the Flashpoint universe. I doubt the movie will have a full blown war between Atlantis and Themyscira though.

Honestly, the less we see of Miller, the better. He wasn't very good as Flash (he was was probably the second weakest actor of the DCEU Justice League after Fisher) and he seems to be a fairly shitty person. Michael Keaton and the multiple universe plot stuff is the reason I want to see this movie, while Miller is something I'll tolerate to get to the stuff I'm interested in.

Ezra Miller was certainly one of few the bright spots and stand outs of the Justice League. In fact, their scenes were practically the only ones I remember--and it was great seeing their appearance on COIE. I haven't got to Barry's scenes in Snyder's JL but I am looking forward to it.
